Hedge Scalper EA Parameters Calculation

Recommended Input Parameters

Parameter Value Details
EA MADE BY EATRADES.COM
This input parameter has nothing to do with your strategy. This only shows that the EA is actually made by www.eatrades.com.
EA Requirements Find Details in EA
EA Requirements basically shows the requirements of the account that are required to run the EA. It can be seen in the EA itself, just double click on it and find the information. but it has nothing to do with your trading, no matter which option you select from the selection, it won't effect your trading.
User License Key
User key is main part of the EA, Once you purchase the EA you will receive a license key in your email box that is going to be a unique key to activate the EA and start trading on your demo or real account. Without this license key, the EA won't work.

Strategy to Trade
It is one of the main part of the EA that you have to choose the trading strategy to trade with the EA. the EA actually comes with 3 strategies. 1.Float With Trend, 2.Stick to Trend, 3.Smart Trading
1.Float with trend is most floating strategy that goes with the market trend and doesn't wait longer for the market to change its trend. This strategy is most suitable for the traders with smaller capital or for those who are looking to trade on safe mode. But it makes less profit as compared to other strategies.
2.Stick to trend is the second strategy in this EA that goes with the market trend but waits a little bit when the market is in the zigzag moves. This strategy is suitable for those who are running on normal mode by keep a balance between safety and risk. And it makes more profit than the first strategy.
3.Smart Trading is mixed of these strategies that keep switching itself according to the market situation and according to your account size. This strategy is suitable for those who want to make some more profit and takes a little bit risk. This is the most effect strategy to make faster profit than any other strategy but it can face some drawdowns.

Lots Mode
Lots mode controls the trading lots that the EA is going to trade. This is a lots strategy to trade in the forex market. It comes with a few options like, fixed, according to balance, adding lots and multiplying lots.
1.Fixed Lots keeps the trading lots exactly same for each and every trade which won't increase or decrease the lots for any order. and the fixed lots can be explain in the 'Starting Lots' whichever the value you put in the 'Starting Lots' the EA is going to trade with that lots.
2.According to Account Balance keeps changing the lot size according to your account balance which may increase or decrease. When the account balance increases the EA will increase the lots and when the balance decreases, the lots will be decreased. It uses this formula to calculate the values 'Account Balance / 1000 * Starting Lots'.
3.Adding Lots means the EA will keep adding lots according to the number of running trades in the account. it can be different for each symbol because the EA keep in count the current symbol and won't be effected by other symbol. Further this is linked with the 'Lots Exponent' and 'Add Lots' inputs below. Lots exponent is one of the controller to adding lots. Example, Starting Lots 0.01 and Lots Mode 'Adding Lots' and Lots Exponent 2 then the EA is going to trade as 0.01, 0.01, 0.02, 0.02, 0.03, 0.03 and so on. Keeping all same but changing the lots exponent into 3 means 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, 0.02, 0.02, 0.02, 0.03, 0.03, 0.03 and so on.
4.Multiplying Lots works similar to the adding lots by keeping lots exponent as a main controller of multiplying lots. So here you can adjust the multiplying rate in the input below 'Lots Multiplier'. It works similar to above explanation with adding lots but it won't add the lots it will simply multiply lots. This option is not the recommended one.
Starting Lots
Starting lots is the starting unit of the trading lots but further it can be controlled through the lots mode and other inputs. But this is the starting and base of the trading lots. When you are using fixed lots you should choose fixed lots from the lots mode and put your value here that which lots do you want to trade with either 0.01 or 0.02 or 0.03 or any value.
Lots Exponent
Lots Exponent is main controller when you are using adding lots or multiplying lots. its explained in detail in 'Lots Mode' input, check above.
Add Lots
Add Lots is the input parameter that you would like to add to the lots according to lots exponent and lots mode. its explained well in 'Lots Mode' input above.
Lots Multiplier
This is the multiplying value when you are using 'Multiplying Lots' as explained in the 'Lots Mode' input above.
Minimum Lots Limit
Minimum Lots Limit is a over riding input parameter that impose a limit to your calculations that you have made from the lots mode and other inputs. It sets the minimum value, such as your value here is 0.02 so the EA won't trade less than 0.02 but it can trade more than that as this is the minimal value. But to adjust the maximum value, you should set the max value in the input below.
Maximum Lots Limit
In similar to the minimal lots, this input parameter over rides and adjust the maximum value of lots. If your input is 0.15, this means that the EA won't open any trade more than 0.15 as that's the maximum value setup. but if you want to keep the same limit for the minimal lots, you should adjust that into the input above in minimum lots limit.
Trades Opening Options _________________
This is a partition line that has nothing to do with your trading. But just to keep the inputs under heading to understand easily.
Pips Diff Between Trades
AS this is a grid EA, the EA opens multiple orders in grid shape by keeping the same difference of pips between trades. We recommend to use value from 20 to 60. The higher value means a bigger distance between trades and lower value means shorter distance between trades. The more distance, the more safe but lesser profit. and when you are on shorter distance, it opens more trades, to make more but risk more at the same time.
Time Diff Between Trades
In similar to the pips difference we have time difference between trades. It keeps a time difference between trades. This only a true false parameter, when you select true, this means that the EA should keep time difference between trades but when its false it won't keep time difference between trades. By Keeping the time difference, you can keep your trading smooth and less risky but when you want to take a little risk and want to make little more, this option should set to false.
Trades Closing Settings _________________
This is a partition line that has nothing to do with your trading. But just to keep the inputs under heading to understand easily.
Closing Priority
We have priority to close trade either the higher lots first or higher loss first. This parameter compares the buys and sells either on lots or loss.
1.Higher Lots when this is selected it keep a balance in your trading because it close the higher lots first and keep the lots balance in your trades between buys and sells.
2.Higher Loss is different as it checks the floating from the running trades. It won't care able the lots but keeping in view for the loss to reduce drawdowns faster but it can take a little risk to increase the difference between buy and sell trades.
Single Trade Take Profit
Single Trade Take Profit has only a option to select between true or false. When selected true, this means that the EA will close every profitable trade that has profit more than your 20 to 30 pips. But when this is selected as false, it will just wait longer for more profit and close them according to market condition. But this is suitable for the smaller accounts to keep this option true. but if the balance is more than 20k then you can set it to false.
Trades Target
This is a target system for each and every trade. You will need to put a dollars value into this, the shorter value close the trades faster but makes less profit in total. while the bigger value makes more profit but keeps the orders open for longer time. We recommend to use the value from 3 to 20 percent of your account size.
Total Max Trades
Total Max Trades is a over riding parameter that controls the number of orders. It checks the total orders for each symbol. buys + sells when the orders are more than this value, the EA won't open further trades on that symbol.
Example, You set the value 10 and you have 7 buys and 4 sells which means that you have 11 orders in total, So here the EA will stop opening new orders. this is pair to pair input, which means that if you have 11 trades on EURUSD and 5 trades on GBPUSD then it won't open new trades on EURUSD as it has reached its limit but the EA will keep trading on GBPUSD as it has only 5 trades.
One Sided Max Trades
Similar to above input, as it was checking both sided trades buys + sells, but this parameter checks both sides separately. Which means that if buy trades reach the limit the EA will stop trading on buy trades but it will keep opening the sell trades according to its strategy.
Special Features _________________
This is a partition line that has nothing to do with your trading. But just to keep the inputs under heading to understand easily.
% of Profit to Reserve
This is one of the special feature in the EA to reserve some part of the profit to close losing trades. When you reserve more profit, the EA closes trades faster and the lower value will close the losing orders slower. we recommend to use the value from 90% to 70%.
Hedging Options _________________
This is a partition line that has nothing to do with your trading. But just to keep the inputs under heading to understand easily.
Hedging In Pair
Hedging in Pair is a true false input parameter. When you want to use hedging in pair, you can make it true and if you don't want to use this feature, you need to set it to false. If you set this as true, you should adjust the 'Max Difference in Buy Sell' below.
Max Difference in Buy Sell
When 'Hedging In Pair' is set as true then this input is active and the value here means the difference between buys and sells. Example You have 10 buys and 3 sells which means that the difference between buys and sells is 7 and you set up the value 'Max Difference in Buy Sell = 5' then the EA is going to pause opening new buys but it will keep trading on sells.
Hedging With Other Pairs
This is again a true false parameter that uses hedging with other pairs. When you want to use this feature, you will need to set it to true and adjust the value below in 'Additional Limit on External Hedging'.
Additional Limit on External Hedging
When the 'Hedging With Other Pairs' is set as true, then this parameter is active and controls the running trades. It uses hedging with other pairs and the pair that is opening more trades will be restricted to open further orders and keep balance with other trading pairs. we recommend to set the value from 4 to 15.
Market Predictions _________________
This is a partition line that has nothing to do with your trading. But just to keep the inputs under heading to understand easily.
Avoid Economic News
The EA comes with automatic detection of the economic news. You can avoid economic events to keep your trading smoother. The EA don't use any external data source or anything to read the news from market. But it uses its own strategy to detect news from the market movements. You have few options to select in this parameter.
1.Only High Impact News avoids only high impact news but won't pause trading on smaller or medium effect news.
2.High & Medium Impact News is going to avoid medium and high impact news but won't be effected by lower impact news.
3.High, Medium and Low Impact News avoids all type of economic events.
4.Don't Use This Option means don't even use this function and don't avoid any news.
Trend Filter Mode
This parameter avoids high trends and automatically pause trading in trended markets. You have a few options here.
1.Avoid Every Small Change in Trend means that the EA is going to pause trading when the market trend changes even a little bit.
2.Avoid Normal Change in Trend avoids only a normal change in trend.
3.Avoid Only Bigger Change in Trend is the most useable option as it won't pause trading every time but it will pause trading when there is some real change in the market trend.
4.Don't Use This Option means that don't even avoid any trend and keep trading all the times.
Max Spread Allowed
As many brokers uses variable spread that keep changing all the times. The max spread filter will allow you to take advantage of smaller spread, and it will pause trading when the broker spread is higher the given value here. And anytime the spread value is lower than given input, the EA will start trading again.
Account Equity Protection _________________
This is a partition line that has nothing to do with your trading. But just to keep the inputs under heading to understand easily.
Dead Stop System
Dead Stop System is a kind of max drawdown in the account. This option helps you to keep your account safe and won't let you lose more than your risk. We have a few options here.
1.Only Stop Opening New Orders & Keep Running Orders means that the EA should not open new trades but keep managing the running orders with hope that it can be recovered.
2.Stop New Orders & Close Running Orders means that the EA should completely stop trading and close the running orders.
3.Do Nothing means do not even use this option and keep trading normally.
Equity Level To Stop
This is the value to keep safe. Example if you are using a 1k account and want to risk only 300 then you should put the value 700 here as you want to keep your 700 safe. Note that if you are using more than 1 pair, you must set the same value in all the symbols.
